Root Path Option

Some import load files may be placed in subdirectory locations off of the actual image locations. Depending on the type of file and the method used to track image paths, you may need to modify the path indicated in the database or load file by appending all of the directories prior to the actual load file location.
Note the following example -
Full Image Path on CD D:\VOL6\Images\0934\000001.tif
Load file Path on CD D:\VOL6\loadfile.xxx
Load file text EXH003,Images\0934,000001.tif
The load file entry indicates that the image is located in \Images\0934 when actually the image is located in \VOL6\Images\0934\.
In these situations, by choosing the "Append the current.." import option, Sanction II automatically "pre-appends" the path with the current path of the actual load file (D:\VOL6\).
If the load file is located in the root directory, either option will produce the same path info.
Note - If you copy CDs to network drives before importing, be sure you understand the Root Path concept before attempting to import load files.
Otherwise, you may have to use the Case Editor to globally correct the file path information.
