Sanction II DDE commands can be used directly from CaseMap using the File Viewers setup.
To set up Sanction II as a viewer from CaseMap:
1. Select Tools – File Viewers from the CaseMap menus.
2. Click on the Add button.
3. Select Custom from the option choices and click on OK.
4. Enter "Sanction II" as the Viewer Name.
5. Browse to the location of the Sanction II executable file. The default installation path for Sanction II is C:\Program Files\SanctionIi\Sanctionii.exe.
6. Click on the Use DDE check box.
In the DDE settings enter the following information:
Click on OK to save the settings.
Note – the above settings use the Linked file path to view images in Sanction II. The referenced file must exist in the Sanction II case database in order for the connection to work properly.
