icon from the main screen tree viewIf your case contains a large number of Transcripts and Media files, you may find it tedious to scroll through the right click association popup menu in order to locate the appropriate Transcript. Sanction II allows you to also associate transcripts and media files from the Associate Media dialog box.
The Associate Media dialog contains all of the current media files and transcript located in the case.
To associate multiple media groups using the Associate Media dialog:
1. Click on the icon from the main screen tree view
2. Hit the F6 function key
3. Select the Media group from the drop down combo box
4. Select the Transcript from the list
5. Click on the Associate button.
6. Repeat for each Media Group/Transcript
Automatic Association
If you have followed a consistent naming convention between your transcripts and media groups (by making the group names identical), you may also use the Automatic association feature to quickly associate transcripts and media files.
Automatic associations can be made as long as the Transcript name and the Media group name are identical.
To associate multiple media groups using auto association:
1. Click on the icon from the main screen tree view
2. Hit the F6 function key
3. Click on the 
button
Keep in mind that auto associating automatically overwrites any existing association.
