If you are adding transcripts to Sanction II which have been timestamped using Timaro Technologies PTS (Post-Production Timestamp) software, you may have to make some synchronizing adjustments to fully match the timestamped text.
There are several output formats used by Timaro PTS, and not all of them can be imported seamlessly into Sanction II.
You can however use the Transcript Manager to make a synchronizing adjustments to any portion of the transcript which does not appear correctly.
Depending on the format of the source ASCII file, the most common adjustment requirement is resetting the start points of each media file. Sanction II attempts to accurately calculate the start position of each media file and update the transcript timecodes appropriately, but if you experience a synchronization playback issue after importing a transcript, load the Transcript into the Transcript Manager, launch the Transcript Manager Help file and follow the steps in the Topic "Re-synching Media Start Points".
If timestamps were added correctly to the original transcript, you should not have to do any additional timestamping.
