The top margin setting is used to adjust the distance from the top of the page for the first line of text when creating Text Clips or Tif files from Transcript pages.
Important – keep in mind that this setting is in inches. If you select an output size with dimensions smaller than the top margin setting, the text will appear to vanish (because it is being positioned outside of the image dimensions).
For example, if the image size is 5 x 3 inches and you select the top margin to be 3, the text cannot be displayed because it would be off of the actual page.
